Position Title: Head of Marketing
Line Manager: Chief Operating Officer
POSITION SUMMARY
The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing all branding and marketing campaigns for True North School including: developing the marketing strategy, leading & executing the strategy and all supporting activities, and building & shaping the brand.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
1. Strategy and Planning
- Work with the Head of Schools, Academic and Admissions Department to build an annual communication/ marketing strategy and recommend changes to reflect on the market market intelligence, insights and trends;
- Analyze and monitor customers’ behaviors as well as competitors’ insights;
- Provide strategic advice and market insight to contribute to setting strategic direction;
2. Implementing Management
- Lead marketing campaigns across a range of traditional and digital channels to build awareness, engagement and generate leads to contribute to student enrolments;
- Cooperate with partners and internal departments to execute the communication & marketing plans and other initiatives (if any);
- Organize and assist in hosting business events within the school campuses for profile raising and accessibility to the local community;
- Monitor, evaluate and report the effectiveness of marketing campaigns on a monthly, semester and yearly basis; ● Lead and develop the Marketing team in their performance and provide appropriate training and support;
3. Client Relationship Management
- Collaborate with Admissions and Operations team to understand sales requirements and adapt marketing tactics and activities to better support admission and operations;
- Support other departments by helping produce sales and marketing materials;
- Research new potential clients and execute external clients’ projects (if assigned);
- Increase the effectiveness of lead generation, and work side by side with the Head of Admissions to maximize the conversion rate, from lead through to enrolment;
- Lead the work on maximizing Parents and Students satisfaction;
4. Other tasks as assigned by the BOD
WHAT YOU OFFER US
- A degree in a relevant discipline with at least five years of experience in marketing management;
- Experience in successfully managing marketing and campaign strategies with significant strengths in digital marketing;
- Excellent people management skills with experience of managing and developing staff;
- Proven planning, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills;
- Proven interpersonal, negotiation and cross cultural communication skills;
- Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement;
- Proven ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships;
- Experience in identifying customer drivers, buying and decision making behavior;
- Knowledge and understanding of the education market and challenges within this industry is desirable.
